Recovery Assistance

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, various resources are available to assist North Carolinians with recovery efforts.
FEMA provides financial assistance for immediate needs like housing repairs, rental assistance, and replacement of personal property, as well as support for serious needs such as food, medical supplies, and childcare expenses. Homeowners and renters can apply online or by phone. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) offers low-interest loans to help businesses, non-profits, and homeowners recover from disaster-related damages. USDA services are available to support recovery for those in the agricultural sector.

Our phones are working again, so please reach out if you need us (828-652-4240). Our staff is working to reach out to all of our membership to check in, figure out critical needs, and make sure everyone is okay.

Below are links to helpful resources. Some of these have been condensed into one PDF or link, and some have been removed because they are out of date/no longer necessary.
