Accreditation

McDowell Technical Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. McDowell Technical Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The MTCC Health Information Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
