Join us for either one of two orientation sessions on Tuesday August 12th (8:30am to 10:30am, or 5:30pm to 7:30pm). Orientation is a great opportunity to meet staff and fellow students, learn about campus resources, and get ready for a successful start to the semester. During In-Person Orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet your Program Advisor and ask any additional questions you may have regarding your new program of study.

McDowell Technical Community College is debuting a free, fast-track Early Childhood Academy from July 14th to 25th, offering both workforce credentials and academic credit for Introduction to Early Childhood (EDU 119). The program is designed for individuals preparing for careers in childcare centers, preschools, Head Start, and other early childhood education settings.
