Join the Student Government Association (SGA) at McDowell Tech!
The Student Government Association (SGA) at McDowell Tech offers students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, advocate for student needs, and contribute to decision-making at the college.
Who Can Join?
Any curriculum student enrolled at least half-time with a 2.5 GPA is eligible to be a voting member of SGA.
What Does SGA Do?
SGA works to enhance student life through events, projects, and advocacy. Key events include:
- Spring Fling
- Summer Splash
- Fall Festival
These and other activities are free for students, funded by student activity fees. SGA also plans and leads projects that benefit the college and community.
