From Regret to Recovery

One of our students, Destin Rickard, helped to film and audio engineer a project last fall to highlight addiction recovery in McDowell County. With the nationwide opioid crisis, as well as ongoing problems with methamphetamines, heroin, alcohol abuse and other substance abuse issues, we thought this would be an excellent time to highlight this video-From Regret to Recovery- and to remind students that there is a path from addiction to “Hope.” (Click on the link above to watch the video.) Inaugural MTCC Scholarship Luncheon Honors Modern-Day “Giants”

The inaugural MTCC Foundation Scholarship Luncheon held recently at McDowell Technical Community College was organized to recognize the modern-day “giants” who are making it possible for generations of students to attend MTCC and achieve their career goals and dreams. These “giants” are the generous donors who have contributed to MTCC named and endowed scholarship funds, who have sacrificed both time and money to help students in need.
